Burchatts Farm Barn Wedding
A Burchatts Farm Barn Wedding at Christmas! How romantic, and what a beautiful setting for a winter wedding. If you haven’t been to a Burchatts Farm Barn Wedding, then take a look at their website – its the perfect setting for a medium sized wedding, set at the edge of Guildford’s beautiful Stoke park, and close to Guildford and hotels that may be needed to accomodate wedding guests.
Jessica and Jamie had their Burchatts Farm Barn Wedding during the Christmas holidays, which meant the theme for their wedding catering was a festive menu:
Mulled Wine braised Beef served in a filo basket
Creamy dauphinoise potatoes
& Cranberry and Orange Red Cabbage
Dessert was Baked Winter fruit cheesecake with poached, spiced plums and clotted cream
We have worked several times at Burchatts Farm Barn. It is a beautiful place for a wedding and reasonably priced as a wedding venue.
When choosing your wedding caterer, it is important to find someone that is both experienced and reliable, but flexible enough to listen to your ideas and tastes to produce a stunning menu that makes your meal memorable for all the right reasons.
We received these words of thanks from Jessica and Jamie:

Dear Jane and all at Bricks Catering,
Thank you for helping to make our wedding such a special day with your exquisite food and exceptional service. So many guests commented on how delicious it was, and we especially appreciated the attention to detail and effort taken to cater to our specific needs.
Yours sincerely Jessica and Jamie.
Silver Wedding Anniversary celebration
Judith and David Strange celebrated their silver wedding anniversary celebration at Bricks Restaurant.
The couple met at a wedding in Send, Judith was the bridesmaid and David was the best man, Jane our chef was a guest at the wedding and remembers the two getting together so she was delighted when they decided to hold their Silver wedding anniversary celebration at Bricks.
Their wedding breakfast was held at “The Hickstead Resort Hotel” in Sussex and they requested that we replicated their wedding meal which we did except for the pud, the original meal had profiteroles which we replaced with a trio of desserts.
Below is a sample of their menu:
Fresh Salmon Mousse wrapped in Smoked Salmon and garnished with a King Prawn, served with a baby leaf salad and seeded bread
Individual Beef Wellingtons with a Mushroom and Brandy Sauce
Creamy Dauphinoise Potatoes
Buttered Mixed Seasonal Vegetables
A Trio of Desserts to include:
Petit pots au chocolat
Mini Sticky Toffee Pudding with Butterscotch Sauce
Hazelnut Meringue with Blackcurrant
Coffee and Home-made Truffles
The photograph below shows Bricks Restaurant laid out for their meal. It makes the perfect venue for any small wedding, party, or celebration, and of the weather is nice you can throw open the bifold doors and spill out onto the courtyard setting. The restaurant seats around 70 guests, and there is plenty of free parking onsite. Have you considered having a Hog Roast?
